Finding product always seems to be a universal struggle for e-commerce individuals allllllll over. Thankfully I have 2 apps that have REALLY helped me find product. These two apps are LetGo and OfferUp. The concept of both apps are relatively similar: they allow you to find product that is near you. They both have filters and categories you can scan through. And fortunately enough you’re also able to bring these finding tools with you everywhere. Going for a road trip? All you have to do is put in your current location and you could be bringing home not only memories, but product to sell as well. So without further a do, lets go over my favorite details, and features of these apps.
Like I had mentioned before, both of these tools are apps you can download directly to your smart phone. So whether you’re waiting in line, waiting at a doctors office, or waiting for food, you can be constantly looking for product. But the convenience of accessibility doesn’t end at the actual software. Both LetGo and OfferUp allow you to connect and meet up with the seller so that you immediatly have the product once you technically buy it. So the locality of all of the product you are browsing is extremely convenient. Because who wants to deal with shipping if they don’t have too. It’s noteworthy to mention that since you are meeting up with the seller, most sellers will let you see the product before you make the final purchase. Lessening the tension of getting scammed, or being unhappy with your purchase.
Another feature of these apps are that you can apply filters and look through categories. Meaning that there are numerous categories that you can select and look for product that meets that requirement. For example on both apps there are categories for technology, furniture, and clothes. So if you are dedicated to one category of product, then you can select that category and look at just that type of product. Additionally with the filters you can apply how far away you’d be willing to drive, and the amount of money you’d be willing to spend. Therefore making the shopping experience more enjoyable since you’d only be looking at plausible possible product.
Thank you guys so much for reading. I really do enjoy and highly suggest these apps, there are just things to keep in mind. Although these apps are absolutely wonderful and have helped me A TON, I do want to make a disclaimer. Since these are apps require you to meet up with the seller, I want you all to make sure that you are being very careful. The world isn’t full of golden people, so PLEASE establish a buddy system so that you’re not meeting up with a seller alone, and you at least have a friend with you just in case anything happens. If the seller is making you uncomfortable, please go with your instinct. Do not buy from a seller that is creeping you out and is trying to be too personal. Do not pick a place to meet up that is near to your house, and do not let the seller know and more information about yourself then what’s necessary. I hope these apps are super helpful and please stay safe! Make sure you check in with our YouTube account and that you’re apart of our email list!
