Behind the Scenes Tour of my ebay and Amazon FBA Inventory

A walk through Entrepreneur Girl’s house that shows her e-commerce process.

Tracy takes us on a tour of her house that shows us how she handles her e-commerce process. We get to see the entire process from walking in the door with the product then all the way through until it finally goes out the door to be shipped off to the customer.
She shows us her photo shoot area. This area she has a black photography drape and black base that she bought on Amazon. Both of the drapes are machine washable. This helps to showcase the item and will create much more professional looking photos. Also, she has adjustable lights that she uses to light up the item to make sure that it is bright enough to avoid shadows and will allow all the details to be seen in the photos.
Tracy uses her iPhone to take all the pictures and then lists the item right from her phone. She does listings both for Amazon and Ebay with her phone. Then when she has completed her listing, she will place the item in her inventory boxes. She uses banker boxes as her inventory boxes since they are sturdy, have handles and are easy to carry around.
After her item is listed, she then will take the inventory box into her garage where she has 5 rows of shelves that hold all the inventory boxes.
Also, she has one row in the back of the shelves that holds all the free boxes that she collects so that she doesn’t have to waste money, buying boxes.
Tracy explains in detail, the way she labels each box to make sure that she easily can locate a product without having to scroll through all the product listings and then having to hunt for the boxes. She uses color coding and symbols that are located on her iPhone keypad and places those codes in the title of the item to help her be able to locate the item easily.
Once the item is located, it will be taken back into the office area for packing and shipping. Then she gets a shipping box, puts the product in the box, weighs the box, seals it up and measures the box. Then Tracy prints the label and it is ready to go to the post office or to the UPS office to ship to the buyer.
