Tracy’s Tuesday Tip: Making Money with Pinterest~ Sell Your EBay and Amazon Products On Pinterest.
In this video, Tracy shows us how we can make money using Pinterest.com So whether you have nothing going on, on-line, you can still make money using Pinterest.
If you have: eBay,Amazon, YouTube, a website, or blog affiliate programs established, you can make even more money by utilizing Pinterest. Tracy posted an article today in her Facebook Amazon 360 group discussing the 2015 social media breakdown: #1 is Facebook, #2 Twitter, #3Linkedin and #4 is Pinterest. There are even rumors that Pinterest will even surpass Facebook because of how popular it is.
Tracy explains that Pinterest is not so much social related as it is product related.
If you’re selling products online, well that’s kind of a no-brainer you can be on a product related social media site.
1st reason to take notice to Pinterest because you can sell items that you’re already selling faster by exposing them to another social media platform and all the people that come with that.
2nd reason you should because you can sell other people’s items through affiliate programs.
3rd reason is because you are going to draw large amounts of traffic to your Youtube channel, your blog and your website. The more traffic you have, the higher SEO reports that you have and the more engagement that you have, the more money you will make!
Tracy started with a business degree and then went into stock trading, then she went into eBay Amazon, Amazon FBA and her YouTube channel, and then this year, she started a website and all the Social Media stuff.
Tracy then takes us to her YouTube channel to take a look at a screen shot of it.It’’s called entrepreneur girl and if you click on the about “me page”, you will see all of her social media links. come up below. So you will see her email, as well as her Facebook group, both entrepreneur girl and Amazon 360. Also, she has an entrepreneur girl website: tracyjosmith.com. Here you can see all her accounts : Google+,Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram.
If you want to see all of Tracy’s different accounts, you can do so by going to that page and one thing that is fabulous about social media if you don’t already know this is that if you go to Tracy’s Twitter account and again it the same logo and stays consistent through all her social media platforms and this has all her tweets
A thing that is great is when Tracy posts a tweet on her account it automatically shows up on her entrepreneur girl Facebook page so this is fabulous because she can reach to different forms with the same post and don’t have to reinvent the wheel with every single post.
Tracy also shows the EntrepreneurGirl.net website and having the social media icons on the site which ties everything together with all of the social media. Try to keep everything looking consistent with your brand across all of the different platforms.
Next, Tracy shows her Pinterest page and the current number of followers as she builds her Pinterest boards.
You can join different affiliate programs for example with eBay and Amazon Associates. You can make money based on products that you promote, people click and buy the products and you get an affiliate commision for. It’s a nice option since you didn’t have to handle any product, no shipping involved, no out of pocket money for inventory, so it can be a great option to start raising a little bit of capital for your business. Think of it as a slice of the entrepreneur pie.
You can take all of the items that you are selling on all of the sites and post them on Pinterest that goes directly to your product page.
Tracy shows how to make a board on her Pinterest account and add a pin to the board. You can search for pins that are based on what your board’s theme is. Say for example: Make money online, search for that term in Pinterest and you will see relevant pins according to that search term. You can look at the pins and notice which ones are popular and have many re-pins or a big following. Select those to target, re-pin to your board and to follow the board owner and they might turn around and follow you. The other followers will see that person following you and will see pins that you are pinning and will start following you, so it can be a snowball effect to create followers for you, your products or services.
The idea is to gain a broader base of followers and you are basically targeting people with similar interests as the Pinterest board you are building. The more people/boards that you follow, the more that will follow you on Pinterest. You can follow a maximum of 300 people per day.
Using Pinterest to promote your products or affiliate links, just be sure that you are following the terms of service for the platform, you will want to disclose there are affiliate links.
This method can be considered a small sliver in the online income pie, when combined with other avenues of making money online such as YouTube, eBay, Amazon, etsy, etc.. it all adds up. Using this method alone won’t make you rich, it’s just another piece of the puzzle to help promote your other main sources of income.
Hope you enjoyed this post. What is your experience with Pinterest and how has it helped your? Please comment below and be a part of the conversation.
