Today’s topic is on how to get organized for maximum productivity in your home business. I did research online and it’s widely known that people are more productive when the space is organized and clutter free.

1st thing is to purge. Empty the room completely, paint the room if needed. Time to make it an inviting space that you are comfortable with. Be selective of the items you bring back into the office. The items need to add value to the space and useful to your organization or business.
Need an incoming catch it location, for items going into office. Business items, personal to do items, place for incoming inventory.
Keep the desktop clear and clean. So you will have space to work on projects when needed. Try to have two desks spaces, one for your computer and the other for projects.
The power system. Create a power list of items/goals that need to be done that day. Write down everything that has to be done, appointments etc.. Do this every day during your cup of coffee.
Keep physical items in drawers as much as possible. Keep all the big things out of the way and out of site, keep all the little things in bins or organizers so it keeps everything organized and clean looking. It makes it easy to put things back in its place. You can use cups and baskets to keep things organized.
