Tracy shares with us her story of how she started to shop at the Bealls Outlet store for her inventory. It all started when she was at a garage sale hunting for deals. She came upon a table of brand new merchandise with labels on them. She asked the lady where she had gotten all the products from and the lady said that she bought all of them at the Bealls Outlet.
Tracy takes us on a shopping trip to Bealls Outlet, to see what deals she can find. As soon as she walks into the store, she sees the jewelry department, with: Hello Kitty watches, bracelets, necklaces, etc., which is a restricted area, so you have to be un-gated to sell these items.
Next, she sees name brand wallets and bags, but they too are restricted so you would also have to be un-gated in this category.
Next, she heads over to the clearance section and finds shoes, Christmas items, toys and some other merchandise that was in categories that she was able to sell in.
Next, Tracy is back at home and she is recapping her shopping trip to Bealls Outlet and she reveals a huge tip. This is not just a regular tip, this is a super tip!…..
She said that when she was checking out, the lady asked her if she wanted to sign up for a rewards card. Well, Tracy had all her kids with her and was hesitant to go through the process at the time. But luckily, she decided to go through the process.
Well, the lady didn’t really explain anything to Tracy, about the program. But she did say ” Oh and on Friday’s, you save 50% off”. WHAT??? That is awesome news for a reseller!
Since the majority of the merchandise was 50% off, if you shopped on Friday’s with the rewards card, you would get an additional 50% off so a $100 bag, would first be priced at $50 but then on Friday, it would be another 50% off so it would be $25! That price would make the numbers work for you to meet the 3 times price rule.
Tracy reminds us to always ask every store if they have a rewards program and see if you can possibly get additional discounts.
She also warns us to be careful when buying some name brands such as :Hello Kitty, Disney Frozen, etc. The reason is because some brands, Amazon does not allow resellers to sell. So, do your homework before you make any purchases.
Hope you enjoyed this information! Happy shopping and we will see you again soon!
