Interested in getting some freebies? Come along as Tracy walks us through opening a new account with UPS. Once you enter in all the information about your business and if you will need pick up or if you will be dropping off the packages, you will finally get to the fun part.
How to get FREE UPS Shipping Supplies!
You will now see that since you will be a UPS business account client, you will have access to FREE supplies! That is right, Tracy shows us how we can get free shipping supplies. There is a menu that you will be able to investigate on their website that will show you all of the free shipping supplies that you can take advantage of.
Tracy points out the free UPS shipping labels that she orders to use on the outside of her packages. She selects the ones that are 2 labels per sheet. There are many different ones that are available, but those are the ones that she’s using when shipping to Amazon.
She mentions how fast the labels arrive. Order one day and receive the labels, a couple days later and the best part is that you will save money since they are FREE!
Additionally, you can order various boxes with your order and they too are free! She points out a great tube type box that would be a perfect box to ship a map or a poster or something like similar.
So not only do we get great prices with UPS through Amazon, but we also can get forms, boxes, labels, envelopes, etc. free. Especially don’t forget the shipping labels for your boxes. It is a great way to save money, especially when you are starting up and trying to watch all your expenses, so closely.
Next, Tracy reminds us that Amazon does not want us to use an ink jet printer to print the labels that go directly on the product. They want us to use a laser jet printer. But you can use the ink jet printer for printing the labels for the packages shipping the product. If you are afraid of your label smearing, just put a piece of tape over the label to protect it, in case it gets wet.

The second site that Tracy wants to share with us is: Auctionzip.com. Auctionzip.com shows you auctions in your area. Some of the best profit margins can be found at auctions.
At AuctionZip.com, you will be able to select how far you want to travel to attend auctions. From 30 miles to 500 miles, you can select the distance and then do the search to see what auctions are scheduled in the area. You will enter in your zipcode and it will be able to search for you.
You also will be able to further refine your search and select from vintage, storage auctions, heavy equipment,antiques, auto’s,etc. You can also select “ALL” and then do a search to see everything that is available in your area.
Be notified of upcoming auctions in your area
At AuctionZip.com, you can open an account and sign up for email alerts so that you do not mess any upcoming auctions.
They will send you a list of not only the auctions in your area, but also any online auctions that are coming up as well. You will be able to just bid online and if you win the auction, you will be sent the merchandise as soon as you pay for the auction.
Auctions are also a great way to find large quantity of goods as well as vintage finds.
