Starting an ebay and Amazon account and getting your inventory.
Now that you have your office set-up and your equipment purchased, it’s time to find your beginner inventory and set-up your Amazon FBA and eBay accounts.
Beginning Series #5- Starter Inventory And Setting Up eBay and Amazon FBA
In this Beginning Series Video, Tracy starts off by showing us how to find inventory to sell and get started. Where should we start? How about looking in your closets, drawers, garage and basement. That is exactly how Tracy got started.
Originally,Tracy went through her house and deep cleaned her house and loaded up her garage with toys, sporting goods, household goods, clothes and just about anything else that you can think of. She filled her garage with piles and baskets of things to sell and you can do the same thing and your house will thank you for the deep cleaning!
Tracy takes us through her garage and shows us all the kids ice hockey gear, tennis rackets, boxes of light bulbs, equipment,etc. Then inside, she shows us her boxes and baskets of scrap booking things that she no longer needs. She now has gone digital so he doesn’t need all the stickers,etc so she can sell them.
She also reminds us to think about hobbies that we have equipment for that we might have changed or outgrown or updated things. That unused equipment or supplies can be sold.
Next, we take a tour through Tracy’s clothing closets and look for things that she can sell. Also, we take a peak into her kitchen cabinets that had all sorts of things that she could possibly sell.
So take a look around and start collecting your piles of things to sell.
Next, Tracy has us go to Amazon’s “seller’s central” and she will walk us through starting a new account. You can follow along with the video. Amazon allows you to try the Amazon FBA account for free for 1 month.
Tracy explains the difference between the professional account (FBA) vs. the individual account so you will be able to decide which account suits you best.
Then follow the prompts and set up your account. It will take you about 10 minutes to get this account opened.
Next she will walk you through the eBay account. There is a very easy, user friendly process to get through this process. Please note that with eBay, you will also need a PayPal account.
You will have to set up all three accounts before you can move onto Tracy’s next video because she will be teaching us how to list on Amazon and on ebay.
