Are you running in circles? Or simply running out of steam?
Have you gotten off track? Have sales slumped?
Has your enthusiasm waned? Are you burned out?

From time to time we all hit these bumps in the road. Sometimes they are brought on after an illness, a family emergency, an interruption in life, or in routine and it seems hard to get back on track. We know what to do, but we are mired in the mud. We have fallen out of step and just can’t get motivated to do anything about it.
We all have ups and down in life, and the same can happen in our business. At times like this it’s important to take a moment to identify, if we can, where we bounced off track, acknowledge it and take a moment to re-group. (Re-boot is too simple. It’s not that easy!) We need to take time to assess where we were, where we are now, what we can do to improve the situation and set some short term goals that will help us get back in that saddle of success.
Watch one of Tracy’s training videos, or just listen to some of the Tuesday Tips while you are driving or tending other chores. You might hear a new idea you missed the first time through. Tracy’s transparency about her own challenges will remind you that even the “Entrepreneur Girl” has had her challenges, and disappointments. Remember how she routinely acknowledges them, deals with them, and then moves on? She doesn’t let them keep her down for long. She always checks her attitude, sucks it in, and takes positive steps to do what needs to be done to get back on track.
Find a positive person/friend to be with and verbalize your current frustrations. You’ll likely be reminded what a clever business person you are for having started your business in the first place. Absorb the affirmations tossed your way. You know you are good at what you do! Reclaim that confidence.
Look at your business plan and daily routine. Perhaps you need to switch things up a little. Evaluate what’s gone well in your business and what’s not gone well. Do you need to modify your goals to more attainable goals, adjust your schedule here or there, or make more time for exercise in your day?
You know YOU better than anyone else. Recognize your strengths, and celebrate the abilities you have. You know the steps that got you to where you are today. Take that first step, then the next, and the next. Before you know it, you’ll be doing what you need to do to get back in that saddle back on that road to success.
“Life always offers you another chance to get back on track. It’s called TODAY!”
