Tracy starts off with a promise to catch up on the comments on her video’s. She was super busy during the summer so she now is committed to catching up on them today! Keep those comments coming because she does read every one of the comments and personally will respond to each and every one of them.
Ok, now onto the featured tips for this video! This video is the 2nd video Tracy has done about taking advantage of the super sales that you can find now that the holidays have passed. You can search for the January 2015 video that Tracy made while she was shopping at Krogers in Indiana and found some awesome deals up to 90% off!
In this video, Tracy does show a short clip from her Krogers shopping trip, but if you want to see the whole video, you can search for it. It is worth the time because it is an awesome video showing what to look for and get familiar with the type of deals you can watch for.
Tracy talks about after holiday items for a deep discount. Some of the items being wrapping paper and decorations. Something to think about when looking at clearance items is could it also be used for another holiday? For example, a green bag during Christmas could also be used for St. Patrick’s Day.
Holidays like: Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s day, etc. are perfect holidays to stop in after the holidays and look for those 90% off deals. Most of these items can be just saved and just resold the next year. Tracy mentions the fact that every year, she buys up all the stockings that she can find and saves them for the next Christmas.
Also, Tracy reminds us that there are not only holiday seasons but there are also seasons in sports. Soccer, football, baseball, summer, etc. Those seasons all have endings as well ,so you can also shop at the end of those seasons and get amazing deals as well. Stores set aside a certain amount of space for the seasonal merchandise. When it is over, they need to clear those shelves for the new merchandise that is coming in. So they mark everything way down to clear it out fast.
While Tracy was shopping, she was looking for patio furniture since it was the end of season and sure enough, she found it for 75%-90% off. Also, keep in mind that if you find merchandise on sale at the end of summer, it can still be listed since it is always summer in places like Florida. Tracy shows items that she bought to hold for the following holiday season. Some of the items include holiday pot holders, reindeer antlers, Santa and snowflake window cling decals.
Tracy shows us how she lists these items that she purchased on clearance. She starts with a Santa window cling that she got for 69 cents and she lists it for $14.99. Next, she has a Rudolph Car Costume that she bought for $2.69 and lists it for $24.99. Also, she has a “let it snow” cling that she bought for 69 cents and will be able to list it for up to $16.99 or more since that person is also charging $4.71 shipping. Another product that she has is the Command clips that she bought for $1.79 and even though Amazon has jumped in on this one and is listing it for $6.99, Tracy can still make a profit.
Hope that you enjoyed this video and don’t forget to stop back again soon.
