Tracy has 3 printers she talks about in the video.
Both printers are wireless which is highly recommended, that way you can print from your pc in another room and don’t need to be connected by a USB cable.
For Amazon it’s required to use a thermal or laser printer when printing the labels for the products you send in to Amazon FBA. Amazon doesn’t allow the use of inkjet printers because the ink on the labels will smear and you could potentially loose inventory in the Amazon warehouse if your labels smears and they can’t scan it.
When using the Brother laser printer you can get the Avery labels to use for your product labels to print on. They do come in different sizes so be sure to select the correct ones for the size you want to print on.
You can also use the Brother laser printer with the UPS shipping labels. You can go to www.UPS.com and sign up for a shipping account and get free shipping labels that you can print the Amazon FBA shipping labels on.
Tracy shows the 3rd printer that she has which is a Dymo Label Writer 450 Turbo. The Dymo label printer comes in handy for Amazon FBA because there will be many times that you will need to just print one label or even a handful of labels. The reason the Dymo printer is more convenient to use for that is that you won’t have to use a full sheet of Avery labels just to print 1 or 5 labels. When using the Brother laser printer to print the Amazon FBA product labels you would want to make sure that you have at least majority of the labels on one sheet to print out, otherwise you will be wasting labels since it will be hard to print on the unused labels next time for Amazon FBA since you can’t reconfigure where the labels print out.
Tracy uses the 1” X 2-1/8” “LW” labels for her Dymo Label Printer. It’s a good size label for the products you ship to Amazon FBA.
Dymo makes many different printers for labels. You can get on that also prints both large and small labels. For example the Dymo LabelWriter 4XL could also print the 4”X6” labels for shipping UPS or even the USPS Priority labels.
In the video, Tracy also mentions the Zebra label printer and how many people swear by them. Many people use that printer to print the labels for Amazon FBA. Many other Amazon sellers talk about this printer in online forums and other videos.
This just go to show how you should do your own research in finding out what printers will work best for you and your business.
