Timely and My First day of the Year- personal development
Our last of the SMART theory… the T= Timely. Also, how I started the first day of the year in a BIG way.
Entrepreneur Girl, Tracy, shares her New Years day with her family and shares some awesome family pics with us. Off roading, an awesome jeep, a dead gator, lots of nature, lots of smiles and lots of fun!
Tracy takes time out of her New Years day to discuss the last of the SMART Theory series that she has been teaching us. This video reviews the “T” which equals Timely.
If we were doing our homework, throughout this series, we should have our specific goal with the vision of what we want to accomplish this year, and how we are going to accomplish each one of those, and then the benchmarks has the “how” which has a date besides each one of those so you will know when you are going to complete each and every step. Next, we have the “why” we are doing this to begin with and now we have the “T” and that is when we are going to have the goal accomplished. Hopefully it will be sometime this year. It might be a goal that won’t be accomplished this year if it is something that you have set for being 5 yrs out or even 10 yrs out. Those are important since this year could be the start!
Tracy reminds us that this is the first day of the year and it is the start of ups and downs and stresses that we should not get discouraged. This year will look kind of like the stock market in the sense that it will go up a little and then down a little but we can never give up.
She compared giving up to throwing out a car just because the turn signal doesn’t work. That would be crazy! When you mess up, just know that it is part of the process and keep moving forward. It’s OK to mess up! Keep your eyes on the end goal! You have permission to fail!
Tracy says “here is to living a life that you create!”
