When life and Work Meet- Amazon FBA and eBay
In this video Tracy discusses if running an Amazon and eBay is worth it.
Tracy reminds us of the health scares she has had and what made her make the change and start her Amazon and eBay business. Her health problems made her do soul searching and she asked herself what is important in life.
Tracy quickly realized she needed to have an online business that would allow her the flexibility to be with her kids and allowed her to travel to visit family in other states and allows her to set her own schedule. Amazon FBA and eBay fit the criteria along with stock trading. Tracy reminds you to find something that you love to day and it be something that you love to do everyday. Tracy loves selling on Amazon and eBay and she loves going out shopping for inventory and garage selling. Tracy has proven it’s a great business model as she is able to make a decent income and there is always room to grow, there’s no cap to money you can possibly make online. Tracy loves her lifestyle with this type of business, she couldn’t imagine doing a 9-5 job now and couldn’t imagine having to ask for time off or requesting for a vacation. She is in charge of her schedule and business.
Amazon FBA books you should read…
Tracy recommends a couple books as these are books she read doing research in the Amazon FBA business.
Make Thousands on Amazon in 10 Hours a Week by Cynthia Stein
It is more of a beginner book, the author shows how she made $40,000 in a year just by
working 10 hours a week.
Another book is Chris Green’s book Retail Arbitrage, The Blueprint for buying retail products to sell online for Big Profits
You can also go to the library to see what books they have about selling on eBay and Amazon FBA that way it’s free.
Selling on Amazon and eBay is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s going to take work to make money as with anything.
In the video Tracy discusses how Amazon and eBay are businesses you start of small and start growing it as you build more capital. Tracy likes to take 25% of her profits and use it to reinvest into more products and another 25% to invest in something else, such as stocks or into building her website or something that will be working towards generating an income.
You should have the goal to double your money each year, it’s a good goal to have and will keep you motivated to be constantly working towards it. As you learn your system and the inventory you are picking you will learn as you go and hone in on your skills of what type of products you should be picking and with better margins.
